It’s July’s Piano Theory Camp!
In this camp we focused heavily on note naming skills.
We started with learning tricks to remember those silly note names!
Hoola Hoop Theory!
Students name the staff notes and then toss water balloons in the correct hoop to earn a point for their team.
The boys teamed up to beat the girls!
Theory on the Trampoline is always fun! Students must swat the correct note bug before someone else does!
Water Squirting Notes!
Students must quickly name the staff note correctly and then aim for the right note card…used as a shield!
Note Naming Relay Race!
Students must climb on trampoline, name a staff note, climb off, run to hoop and name staff lines, run around the tree (just for fun) and then back to the picnic table to name the missing note!
We learned lots from the life of Ludwig van Beethoven!
The most fun comes from Pool Theory!
Students work hard to remember all they are taught so they can win the games in the pool… musical baseball, minnows & sharks, matching staff note cards correctly, and finding turtle notes!
Thanks for coming!
